Ex Wauchope High School Student publically admitts using ICE and books in for Rehab

The lead singer of Australian rock group Grinspoon, Phil Jamieson, is undergoing a six-week rehabilitation program to seek treatment for addiction to the drug 'ice'.

Jamieson is in Sydney ahead of the birth of his second child.

Drug Arm's Dennis Young says addiction to meth-amphetamines is widespread, but he hopes the singer's decision will inspire others.

"It shows young people these type of activities can lead to serious consequences, and I think that's a positive move," he said.

"The other thing to come out of it is that he's prepared to stand up and say he's got a problem and he's prepared to go and seek help."

REunion Back on

Well the school reunion this is back on. Well at least it looks that way. Nicole Hatzi has expressed an interest in getting it back off the ground again and I am certainly looking forward to getting stuck back into the organizing of the event again.

I have seen quite a few people recently at the DownUnder, I saw Sophie McDonald and Sam Green as well as Jamie Bell. We regularly see people from our year come down there for a bit of a party.

I have a meeting to go to on Sunday to discuss the future planning of the reunion.

The school acording to a government website is a comprehensive high school serving a rural community, Wauchope High offers students quality academic, performing and creative arts, vocational, leadership and sporting opportunities. The school is proud of its programs and outcomes for students. Our HSC results for are again impressive. They are analysed in section three.
